2002 Whooping Crane Migration

November 8, 2002

 

Day 27: Hendricks/Morgan Counties, IN - With winds at 15-20 miles per hour, the flock and whooping crane migration team remain grounded, having split yesterday into two groups. Thirteen whooping cranes are in Hendricks County, Indiana, having traveled a total of 367.5 miles; three cranes in Morgan County have traversed 391.5 miles.
