2001 Fall Whooping Crane Migration

Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge (Citrus County, Florida)

After 48 days on the road (so to speak) the young whooping cranes flew 25.1 miles today and made it to their winter home at Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge!
